Formerly known as the partnership for Children, Youth, and Families Foundation
The Arlington Foundation for Families and Youth (ARLFFY) is a charitable and educational organization that funds community initiatives to address the needs of Arlington children, youth, and families with a focus on wellness, school success, family stability and positive relationships. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The Foundation provides financial support to and often serves as the fiscal agent for organizations or individuals whose requests are consistent with the purpose of the Foundation.
Current and recent activities supported by the Foundation include: enrichment activities at Carlin Springs Community School, the Elder-Mentor Program at Gunston Middle School, Let’s Talk about Race, the Youth Point in Time count, Arlington’s Healthy Communities Action Team (HCAT), and the Arlington County Police Department STEP program for high school students. The Foundation also owns Second Chance, a restorative justice education program for Arlington middle and high school students who are found by school staff and/or the police under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or other illegal substances.
For information about donating to the Foundation, applying for funding for a project or activity that supports the mission and focus of the Foundation, or to request the Foundation to serve as the fiscal agent for a project or activity that aligns with its work, please email: info@arlffy.org
